The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications is located in Central New York at Syracuse University. It consists of three buildings known to some as the Newhouse Trilogy. Newhouse I was dedicated in 1964 by President Lyndon B. Johnson. Newhouse II was dedicated in 1976 by CBS President William Paley and Newhouse III was dedicated in 2007 by U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.

The Newhouse School is a premier institution of higher learning in all areas related to public communications, including print and magazine journalism, radio, television, film, new media, public diplomacy, public relations, arts journalism, sports journalism, among others. It boasts a long list of prominent alumni, most notably in broadcast journalism.
