Maurice Carroll is the Director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.


Carroll, the director of the Polling Institute, brings more than 40 years experience as a political writer and columnist for New York and New Jersey newspapers.

Carroll is the chief spokesperson for the New York and National polls and works with Douglas Schwartz to develop, analyze and present the results of the many polls conducted by Quinnipiac. Carroll's experience as a journalist includes work with The New York Times, Newsday, the New York Post, the Passaic Herald, the Jersey Journal and the Newark Star Ledger. He has written a polling column for the Washington D.C.-based The Hill.
