Darrell Bricker is President and COO of Public Affairs North America for Ipsos-Reid, the leading market research firm in Canada. He is an experienced observer and commentator on social, political and consumer trends in Canada and what they mean for governments, companies and not-for-profit organizations.

Bricker is quoted frequently in national and provincial media, and is also the co-author (with Edward Greenspon) of the book Searching for Certainty: Understanding the New Canadian Mindset, with features on The Health Care Revolution and on 'Who Owns My Life?' Bricker’s research specialties include analysis of social and political trends, issues management, strategic communications and corporate reputation.

Prior to joining Ipsos-Reid, Bricker was Director of Public Opinion Research in the Office of the Prime Minister. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Carleton University.
